Well, I've had to do work today. Because a stupid Arizona court where my client is detained decided to deny my request for a virtual bond hearing last night, after hours (7Pm time there) last night. So I had to find another attorney and get everything set up for her to cover for me. The hearing is monday.

Argh. Absolutely no good reason to deny given that I have two witnesses I wanted to testify and the court insisted witnesses weren't necessary.

Politics thread is down there.

I don't think this was political. Didn't rant about the government. Thread asked for personal update. Mine is that I had to work today.

NAYRT but this shit is EXACTLY why the political section was created. So people can easily ignore it if they choose. But instead philstar made a political post in GC (that isn’t even related to the thread topic) and didn’t warn for it and now it’s grown huge and has frozen bits, so it’s just going to attract more until the next post goes up. I’m going to guess it’s because she was craving attention; usually her political comment threads get few, if any, replies.

Work related for me today as well: did a massive rebuild in our store today, involved moving all the shelves as well as putting the stock where it needed to be back on the shelves, I am so very tired and looking forward to my two days off.

I'm gonna load up some comfort fic on my kindle and then snuggle in bed reading until I fall asleep.

Wow. That sounds exhausting. I hope you get some well-earned rest and relaxation for the rest of the day/evening.

It was very tiring, I'm shattered lol. But it looks good and my boss gave me some extra time off for doing it, plus she brought me snacks the whole day. I get my lunch ofc but she'd come by with treats every hour or so to help me keeping doing and let me take whatever drinks I wanted from the shop fridge without needing to buy them.

She knew it was a lot to ask but it's done and now I don't have to do it again.

That other anon is insane, don't let them get to you. And I'm sorry you have to deal with them on top of working on your day off! I hope you get some chill downtime.
