I feel the same way about piano. My short stubby fingers were never going to excel at that. :(

nayrt - I can't speak for guitar, but I can tell you that it's not necessarily a drawback re: playing piano. Having long fingers will help, but when you play, you move your whole hand and your fingers only have to reach the key that's right beneath them.

da but honestly this. It takes practice. Some will be better than others but you definitely need to work at it and get tips if you can. I met a famous drummer once (think doumbek/goblet drum, the kind you hit with your hands) who kind of laughed and shrugged when I complained about having short fingers... because he did too!

I played piano in the past and I have quite small hands. I can't play some pieces, but it's not a huge amount
