I think the vet will be providing a shadow box and such. It is a service they do along with the cremation. I'll look into wind chimes. I found one that sounds like the one you got.

I can't sew but I do know someone who makes memory bears and such. He doesn't have clothes but he had many beds and blankets. Obviously, I'll ask her first in case she is wanting to do something with them.

If the service is Lap of Love it can vary between regions. We thought we were getting shadow boxes but we didn’t.

Would your sister or brother in law appreciate urn jewelry? I wear a bracelet and my husband has a necklace. There are a lot of styles out there. We both chose fairly plain and masculine styles although I’ve since decided I would like a super girly bracelet, too. The super girly bracelets have better sizing than the masculine ones.

Some of the pet memorial markers are fairly general purpose. Our neighbor gave us one that’s just a heart with “You left your paw prints on our hearts” stamped on it. We set it in his favorite place in the yard.

I also mentioned above in reply to the other anon about using a keepsake box for the cards we received and I’ve since added other things to it. You could get one personalized or one without. You could also order a regular one and separately order a personalized plaque to add later if you wanted to personalize it but that option means it would arrive too late.

I'm not sure if they are using Lap of Love or a local company (there are a couple). I think I will look for something for her front garden since I don't know if she'd want jewelry. But an outdoor plaque or stepping stone that is customized would be appreciated.

I plan on crocheting her a stuffy of him but I am a slow crocheter so I might give that to her on the memorial of his passing next year.
