Ok but the current season is DESTROYING the usual hits-to-misses ratio. "The Robot Revolution" was mid, but "Lux" was pretty fun, "The Well" was a MASTERPIECE, "Lucky Day" was... messy but the highs were really high, and "The Story & the Engine" might be hands down my favorite episode since series 10.

(This isn't me trying to be, like, an asshole about your secret, I'm just really REALLY enjoying this season of DW 😆)

I AM trying to be an asshole about it, and honestly I kinda suspect a lot of people like this are just gonna whine, no matter how good the show is, until the Doctor is a white man again.

I'm afraid this is the case because IMO the quality is leaps and bounds over last season (which I enjoyed!) and so much better than anything since 12.

I disliked the majority of the previous season's episodes and it has seriously made me not feel like watching the new season. I know I should just sit down and give it a chance...

Yeah, this season has been fire. I haven’t been so excited to tune into Doctor Who in a long time.

The Well, Lucky Day and The Story & The Engine has been a great run of episodes imo. Especially the last one!

Girl what do you even mean by this, I hang out in a lot of VERY different DW fandom spaces and these aren't even super unpopular opinions 😭😭😭 I'll admit I'm WAY more into "The Story & The Engine" than most ppl seem to be (think me saying it's a 10/10 while most ppl are more like 7/10) but other than that these are just,,, not super contrarian imo??? I'm basic lmao

I mean, no, not even then, because the BBC is still run by the same pack of nonces that covered for Jimmy Saville, Huw Edwards, and who knows how many others.

I wont be paying my licence fee again until all their higher ups are found [Redacted]. I'd even pay up front for the rope.

But you can take this as a general agreement that the failure of Dr Who and the utter lack of quality is one of the many things I find objectionable about the BBC.
