Honestly, no sarcasm, good on you for supporting Dropout all the same. I know a lot of people who would sail the high seas to watch "Game Changer" instead of subscribing for it, but Dropout does need the money to produce the shows we enjoy, so good on ya.

OP here, and yeah, that's why I keep subscribing. I like most of Game Changer and the other shows I do find mostly cringey, but I like the idea of what Dropout TV is trying to do so I don't mind supporting them for one show I enjoy.

I also subscribe to Dropout for Game Changer, though I do watch Make Some Noise. I would like to try and watch other things, but I'm kind of at a loss and recommendation would be good. ...Everything except the tabletop RPG stuff, though. Sorry, not interested in those. Which is a shame because Brennan Lee Mulligan has such charisma in Game Changers, but just not my particularly brand of nerdery.

Really hit or miss for me depending on the show, but Smartypants and Umm Actually have some fun episodes.

I want to like the tabletop RPG stuff but for some reason it just doesn't click for me.

Thanks for the recs! I'll check those out.

I really liked Gastronauts, although if you don't vibe with the first episode then it's not worth pressing on. It feels really separate to the rest of the Dropout stable of shows.

Noted. I'll give it a try. Thanks.

I would say basically same, because somehow I am not a fan of dnd in visual format (I am known to like dnd podcasts) and most other shows seem boring. But I love Play it by Ear and occasional Make Some Noise

I like most of their shows, but I find VIP unbearable. A shame, because I like most of the guests on it, and Vic Michalis is so funny. But that specific show leaves me completely cold. I had high hopes for Parlour Room but it's a bit of a dud so far.

I can almost see how VIP could work but it absolutely falls flat for me. I haven't tried Parlour Room. And honestly, the last episode of Game Changer wasn't for me either. When Dropout hits it really hits, but they so often miss with me.
